ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that multi-time Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish is expected to debut at Full Sail University as a part of NXT Television Tapings. Fish is an excellent wrestler with a background in Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, and team sports like Lacrosse and Football. Fish was trained by Harley Race and later Tony DeVito. Fish is currently the Updates Pro Wrestling Champion (out of Rochester New York) and has held titles in NECW Heavyweight Championship, IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, and has been the ROH Television and ROH World Tag Team Champions. Fish is 37 years old, which is substantially older than most WWE signees and there has been no official word on whether Fish has signed a contract or this is just a one off appearance.
Facebook Group The SpOtLight has shared the speculation that WWE's "Hideo Itami's contract is set to expires later this year and he could end up leaving the company." They also note that much of "Itami's momentum in WWE/NXT has stalled several times due to injuries and it's possible Itami will return to wrestling in Japan." Now many would agree that the artist formerly known as KENTA hasn't quite reached the the potential many thought he would with his tenure in the WWE. As noted the injuries have certainly sidelined his opportunities to join the main roster. He isn't the only former NOAH wrestler who's been sidelined with injury as Shane from TM-61 has also been out due to injury. The group speculates a return to NOAH would mean big business for NOAH. Or heading to New Japan would be good for both parties. This is only a rumor for now, but I'd suspect that we will see Itami remain with NXT and the WWE.
