El Patron to CWFH?

When last we had seen "El Patron" in a wrestling ring in the United States, the Latin American Exchange had defeated the Patron Family.  Shortly after this defeat, Del Rio was stripped of GFW Championship due to circumstances outside of the Impact Zone.  However, Alliance-Wrestling.com is reporting that Alberto Del Rio is set to deput for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.  Although there doesn't appear to be an official contract in place; "...Sunday September 10th, “El Patron” Alberto Del Rio joins our Cast of regulars and makes his “Hollywood” debut..."
CFWH for the better better part of a decade has been producing local television in Southern California.  Many stars have been showcased at Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.  It was recently announced that CWFH was going to be expanding its National Reach via the CW Plus.  Del Rio might not be the only talent joining their roster.

FREEDOM FROM THE TEMPLE

You've got to believe that the wrestler who plays Prince Puma is counting down the hours to Ultima Lucha Tres.  Because in the words of Kevin Kleinrock "[Ultima Lucha Tres, plus 4 weeks + 90 Days = Freedom; for some, yet not nearly enough."  For as beloved as Lucha Undergound is by it's audience much of the talent regret signing contracts with LU.  We know specifically that B-Boy known in LU as Bael, was granted his release earlier this month.  But whom else would be happy to leave the Temple?

The term "phenomenon" was used often an early to describe the rise of Lucha Underground.  Even from it's first days taping in a warehouse in Boyle Heights in September of 2014, Lucha Underground aimed to provide the audience with a hybrid of Lucha Libre, Professional Wrestling, and Sci-Fi.  People fled to the "Temple" to attend the live event tapings.

"I wanted to be here sooner but a certain Underground Fighting Company are being pricks right now."   -King Ricochet

Specifically for King Ricochet, we know that is inability to work state side for NJPW kept money out of his pocket.  It was also heavily rumored that the WWE were very interested in Ricochet for last years WWE Cruiserweight Classic, which more than likely would have led to a deal with the WWE.

Apparently Low Ki's return to Impact was short lived.  We reported April 21st that Low Ki had returned to Impact.  Some four months later PWInsider is reporting that Low Ki and Global Force Wrestling are parting ways... Again.

Speculation states that Low Ki left over a money dispute or a dispute over creative.  He was allegedly to begin a fued with El Patron before Patron was suspended.  Low Ki was a five time X-Division champion and has had stints in WWE, NJPW, and was the first ROH World Champion.  It was said the release was requested by Ki and he left on amicable terms.

***UPDATE***
Some sources are indicating that Low Ki is in fact with Global Force Wrestling.  Nothing has been confirmed either way just yet.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Beal, more commonly known as B-Boy has finally been released from his Lucha Underground contract.  Bael was actually "Killed Off" in the very first season, but was reportedly in a god awful seven season contract.  B-Boy alluded to showing up somewhere with "Honor" or "Global" but there has bee no formal announcement.  What is certain that with many of the WWE's NXT signings, there are definitely more opportunities for wrestlers like B-Boy.

PWInsider broke the news that Adam Cole will be heading to the WWE Performance Center this week.  It's long been rumored that Adam Cole would be heading to the WWE.  based on Jim Ross' comments that he expected Cole to be heading to WWE in April.  Cole has held championships on both coasts and has held titles really all over.  He's a former 3 time ROH World Champion.  He held the ROH TV Title, the PWG World Championship, titles in Australia, CZW, and more.  This looks like another victory for the WWE and NXT.

EVA MARIE FINISHED WITH WWE

Today I'm saying a bittersweet goodbye to @WWE. Thanks to the entire team, and YOU, my fans, for these 4 years! #AllRedEverythingForever ❤️ pic.twitter.com/1YlYbAqdZ2

Not really surprising.  Rumors of the separation with the company were running rampant.  The Red All Over Superstar and Pro Wrestling never seemed like a good fit.  She ranked at #50 of the PWI Top 50 Females in 2016.  Wrestling Observer Newsletter had her at 7 and 9 for the Most Overrated Award in 2015 and 2013 respectively.  Eva Marie represented the last of the old WWE Attitude Mentality when it came to wrestling.  She was chosen for her looks instead of wrestling prowess.  However, I will give Ms. Marie credit for attempting to get more well trained in wrestling when she was off of television.  She spent numerous weeks training with The Brian Kendrick and the Santino Brother's Wrestling School in Southern California.
