The WWE announced via their website and twitter that it has come to terms with the release of Emma. This came as quite the surprise considering her match with Asuka on Monday Night Raw, last week. While in the WWE, Emma never quite reached the upper echelon of the women division. At least on the surface it seemed like Emma was making a statement on Monday Night. Emma was brought in initially to be the partner of Santino Marella, mostly used as comedy relief. Emma would head to NXT and start to become a more serious competitor. Her career did come with some controversy as she was arrested in 2014 on shoplifting charges, the WWE almost instantly released her, but in an odd turn of events reversed their decision. Before signing with the WWE, Emma was trained by Lance Storm and wrestled in Canada for ECCW, where she held the NWA ECCW SuperGirls Championship.
We wish her well in all of her future endeavors...
