Raj Giri is reporting that HoHo Lun has been released from the WWE. Lun was one of the participants of the Cruiserweight Classic last year, representing Hong Kong. HoHo also appeared briefly with 205Live and casually on NXT. HoHo Lun is also the owner of Hong Kong Pro Wrestling. HoHo won the AWGJ Junior Heavyweight Championship defeating Jason Lee in Chai Wan, Hong Kong, (for Hong Kong Pro Wrestling) a mere three days before heading to Full Sail University in Florida, USA to compete in the Cruiserweight Classic. He had his first defense of the AWGC Jr. Heavyweight Championship New Year's Eve in China before returning to the WWE to work for NXT.
Update: Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that HoHo Lun had asked for his release due to a family situation and has reported that a rep from the WWE has confirmed it.
