After eight years wrestling in New Japan, KUSHIDA has announced he will resign from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Kushida was defeated by the "Bone Soldier" Taiji Ishimori at Wrestle Kingdom 13. The Junior Heavyweight is a six time IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion and a two time IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
A very emotional Kushida credits his time with NJPW for making him a "Real" pro wrestler. That the promotion and its fans made him the man he is today. Kushida plans to experience more of pro wrestling around the world. And he has no regrets about his decision. And had a great time in New Japan.
KUSHIDA got his first break in wrestling teaming with his trainer TAJIRI for the HUSTLE promotion. KUSHIDA would spend his earlier career between HUSTE and indie events in Japan before becoming a regular for All Japan in 2007. In 2008 he would start working in Canada regularly. In 2010 he wrestled his first match in New Japan.
We Wish Him Well In All Of His Future Endeavors...
Wishing you the best, on your future endeavors.
